Intoware Welcomes John Higgs as New Non-Executive Director to its board.
John brings a wealth of experience and expertise gained from executive sales & marketing roles, that will greatly benefit Intoware as we continue to grow and expand our business. John has a proven track record as a board member, advisor and investor, coming from over 40 years of experience in the IT and software industry during which he has started, built and scaled high-growth companies and established strategic partnerships globally.
John’s core competencies including customer relationship management, strategic planning, business development, as well as the senior leadership positions, will help play a pivotal role in guiding our strategic direction and contributing to our growth journey.
John has held prominent positions in, amongst others, Cisco, Riverbed, and more recently Realwear and his demonstrated strong leadership qualities throughout his career.
John has also been involved in charitable work for nearly two decades with the Soi Dog Foundation whose mission is:
“to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, to end animal cruelty, and to ultimately create a society without homeless animals; Last year they became the first organisation in history to surpass one million stray animals neutered and vaccinated. The milestone animal was named 'Million', and signifies the progress made by the programme since its establishment in 2003”.
Outside of work he is a keen music fan and a “would be “ drummer who, when not upsetting the neighbours, is often found trying to earn beer credits by walking the local beaches and mountains with his pack of 12 rescued stray dogs. His one original house cat excommunicated him”.
