Purpose of the role

Assist sales & technical team to assist with developing the next generation of productivity tools.

This is where the right candidate has an opportunity to work with very exciting technologies in wearable technology, data, analytics and user experience. The candidate will have an opportunity to work and support driving our product forward, as well as being part of a great team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building B2B apps, managing dependencies and ensuring they are delivering on the programme goals. You will need to provide business analysis and detailed requirements as well as managing stakeholder expectations. A good understanding of software development and methodologies is required. We are looking for that right person that will become part of an agile, high performing software development company.

Role Dimensions

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Management of dependencies across the teams and ensuring that everyone is aligned in their deliverables.

  • Working with business, technical, & delivery to create policies for all agreed requirements.

  • Providing a high-quality detailed analysis and design with the customer in mind and working through requirements in an agile manner. Creating, maintaining and prioritising the Product backlog, supporting sprint planning and ensure the relevant user stories and acceptance criteria are prepared in advance for the team to work on.

  • Validating, that software built meets the acceptance criteria of the project scope.

  • Clearly communicating the business requirements to the team, scope changes to the customer/management team.

  • Experience in working with software development teams and a good technical understanding of how products are built is essential.

  • A hands-on approach to ensure successful delivery.

  • Fast learner – can quickly get up to speed with complex solutions and knows how to acquire knowledge.

  • Ability to deliver ‘task & projects’ in a timely manner.

Personal Requirements


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent working experience


  • Broad/Proven work experience in business analysis, software development processes and leadership.

  • Able to work at strategic, as well as detail, level and can engage with teams across a wide range of disciplines.

  • Solid, multi-organisation experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrable skills in business processes, systems and data analysis and the production of high quality written documentation.

  • Broad experience of Agile delivery and knowledge of Agile techniques such as User Stories, Behaviour Business-Driven Development (BDD), Test-driven development (TDD), Continuous Integration & Automated Testing etc.

  • The ability to drive and challenge business users and delivery teams in the specification, design and delivery of fit for purpose solutions.

  • A persuasive, articulate communicator with a passion for delivery, who is able to communicate business analysis concepts and related matters to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.  Must have an aptitude for attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective control over many tasks in parallel.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and presentation skills – service orientation, collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills, situational awareness and conflict resolution.

Key Behaviours:  

  • Excellent communication skills (presentations, conveying complex messages and interactions). Written and verbal fluency in English is required.

  • Possesses an astute business awareness to understand ‘why’ we are doing something.

  • Team player with a passion for best practice and skilled in working within a collaborative environment working across multiple teams in projects.
